Product Overview

The QL-MESH201-A1W4 man-portable ad-hoc networking device is highly mobile and flexible. It can be worn around the waist to reduce additional weight or placed as a temporary relay node in a fixed position. Once powered on, it automatically establishes network links without requiring any additional configuration. Each individual node does not need to relay data through a central node; all nodes can simultaneously function as data collection nodes, relay nodes, and data output nodes. The network dynamically adjusts to environmental changes, meeting the demands of various application scenarios. In unobstructed environments, the device can transmit data over distances of up to 10 km (ground-to-ground line of sight) or 60-100 km (air-to-ground line of sight). Even in heavily obstructed environments, it maintains high data transmission and communication performance. Designed to military-grade standards, it is highly effective in various harsh environmental conditions.

This man-portable ad-hoc network radio adopts an FPGA platform solution, utilizing COFDM (Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) technology and mobile Ad hoc network technology. It does not rely on any basic communication infrastructure and can temporarily, dynamically, and quickly establish a wireless IP MESH network. This network features self-organization, self-recovery, and high survivability, supporting multi-hop transmission of multimedia services such as data, voice, and video.

It can be applied in various scenarios, including military operations, maritime law enforcement, public security, counterterrorism special operations, border and coastal defense, firefighting and emergency rescue, disaster relief, petrochemical industries, ports and water conservancy, forestry and transportation, mines and tunnels, intelligent robots, unmanned vehicles, unmanned boats, field operations, temporary conferences, wireless image transmission, environmental monitoring, individual soldier networking, vehicle networking, and drone swarm networking.

This radio can directly supply 12V DC power to peripherals such as cameras through its own battery.

Ø  Communication waveforms: The default is Waveform A (64 nodes, 65Mbps @ 10MHz), with optional A, B, C, and D waveforms available.

Ø  Form factor numbering: The form factors are numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, with the man-portable handheld radio designated as number 1.

Ø  Operating frequency bands: Optional 500-680 MHz with a center frequency of 600 MHz, or 1300-1500 MHz with a center frequency of 1400 MHz.

Ø  Expandable licenses: Adaptive frequency selection/hopping, interference defense, and spatial time division multiplexing (optional paid features, licensed as needed).
