Shenzhen, September 9th. From September 9th to 11th, the 27th China International Optoelectronics Expo (CIOE 2026, Shenzhen 

Optical Expo) was officially held at the Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center (Baoan). With the theme of new 

changes in AI-enabled optoelectronics, this exhibition brings together more than 4000 optoelectronic companies from more than 

30 countries and regions around the world, with an exhibition area of 260000 square meters. It is expected to attract more than 

150000 professional audiences at home and abroad and fully display the entire optoelectronic industry. The cutting-edge 

technology of the industry chain has become the annual vane of the global optoelectronic industry.


This Expo will be held concurrently with IICIE International Integrated Circuit Innovation Expo and Shenzhen International 

Electronics Exhibition in elexcon. The total scale of the three exhibitions will reach 320000 square meters, bringing together 

more than 5000 enterprises and opening up the boundaries of photoelectric, semiconductor and embedded electronics 

industries. The exhibition will set up eight themed exhibition areas, covering information communication, precision optics,

 laser and intelligent manufacturing, infrared sensing, new display, AR/VR

In addition to the optical communication track, infrared perception, laser manufacturing, space display field is also bright. The 

infrared exhibition area focuses on displaying the technical achievements of "multi-dimensional perception AI". Manufacturers 

release large models of the infrared industry and a new generation of infrared AI image processing chips to promote the 

upgrading of infrared thermal imaging from simple imaging perception to end-side intelligent identification and automatic 

alarm, which are widely used in power inspection, new energy monitoring, security night vision and other scenes. The laser 

intelligent manufacturing section focuses on AI adaptive laser processing equipment, which is oriented to semiconductors, 

new energy and precision processing, and realizes intelligent tuning of process parameters. In the field of space reality display, 

new products such as naked-eye 3D display screens will be launched, which can present multi-view stereoscopic images without 

wearing glasses, expanding new applications of commercial display, office and consumer audio and video. Vertical industry 

programs such as on-board optical communication, industrial optical detection and medical endoscope optical system are also 

on display to expand the landing scene of photoelectric technology.


The process of autonomy of domestic optoelectronic equipment and core components has accelerated. A number of equipment 

manufacturers exhibited optical communication solid crystal machine, eutectic machine, silicon optical coupling equipment, 

covering CPO, COB and other advanced packaging technology, to solve the high-speed optical device mass production link 

precision manufacturing equipment needs. Optical components, optical coatings, optical testing instruments and other upstream 

supporting continuous breakthroughs, industrial chain upstream and downstream collaborative innovation, further enhance the 

domestic optoelectronic industry supply chain resilience.

At the same time, the exhibition held more than 90 professional forums, focusing on AI optical interconnection, silicon photonics, 

vehicle-mounted optical communication, infrared intelligent sensing, laser micro-nano manufacturing and other cutting-edge 

directions to carry out technical discussions and industrial docking. The forum brought together academicians, industry experts 

and enterprise technology leaders to study and judge the development trend of the optoelectronic industry, and discuss topics 

such as domestic technology substitution, computing infrastructure construction, and optoelectronic technology empowerment. 

Qian Lue Technology will also share the landing practice of TS-PON deterministic all-optical networks in industrial and power 

scenarios at the same industry forum, and exchange innovative ideas on the integration of passive optical networks and 

time-sensitive networks with industry colleagues.

The organizers said that the current deep integration of artificial intelligence and optoelectronic technology, optoelectronics as 

the underlying foundation of the computing network and perception of the world, ushered in a major development opportunity. 

This CIOE will build a platform for global optoelectronic technology exchange and trade docking, promote collaborative innovation 

in industry, academia and research, help the domestic optoelectronic industry to continue to break through core technologies, 

promote the large-scale landing of optoelectronic technology in the fields of digital economy, intelligent manufacturing, 

low-altitude economy and new energy, and accelerate the high-quality development of the optoelectronic industry.
